ATM Skimmer Found In Bristol Pike Wawa

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Bristol Township Police are investigating the placing of a bank card skimming device on an ATM inside the Wawa store.

The Bristol Township Police Department said the incident took place at the Wawa on 5900 Bristol Pike around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The device was discovered by authorities about five hours after being placed. It is not known if anyone had obtained any bank information from the device yet.

Police are seeking to identify a man and a woman who may be involved in the scheme.

Anyone who used the ATM at the Wawa between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday should contact their bank and take whatever measures are recommended.

Also, police urge residents to file a police report with their law enforcement agency if any unauthorized transactions are discovered.
